Women, Are You Ready for the Greatest Wealth Transfer in History?
Over the next two decades, an estimated $84 trillion to $124 trillion is expected to pass from one generation to the next in what economists are calling The Great Wealth Transfer.
Women are expected to inherit and control a significant share of this wealth.
Some estimates suggest women could inherit nearly 70% of transferred wealth, while others project women will control more than $34 trillion in assets by 2030.
But here is the question that I obsess about:
Are women being prepared to manage it?
Because wealth is not just about receiving money. It's about knowing how to protect it. How to grow it. How to invest it wisely. How to pass it on. How to use it to create opportunities for your family, your community, and the causes you care about.
Too many women are highly educated, highly capable, and successful in their careers, yet still feel uncertain when it comes to investing, pensions, estate planning, or long-term wealth building.
The greatest risk isn't inheriting wealth. The greatest risk is inheriting wealth without the confidence, knowledge, and strategy to steward it well. This is why financial education matters.
Not so we can accumulate money for the sake of it. But so we can create security, freedom, impact, and legacy.
The next generation will inherit more than our money.
They will inherit our habits, mindset, values and wisdom.
Let's make sure we pass on all four.
Financial resilience today becomes generational wealth tomorrow.
