2023 - The year my Life changed

Some photos carry more meaning than we realise at the time they are taken.
This one was taken about two months before my mum passed away in 2023.
Looking back, I didn’t know then how much that season of my life would shape the path I’m walking today.
Losing her reminded me of something powerful:
life is fragile, time is precious, and our dreams deserve courage.
Not long after, I made a promise to myself that I would pursue work that truly matters and will come out of my comfort zone ( posting on social media included).
Today, I can honestly say that working in financial education and resilience, especially supporting women, fills my soul.
Every week I meet women navigating incredibly complex realities:
divorce, cultural pressure, financial abuse, debt, rebuilding after loss, or simply the quiet anxiety of earning well but still not feeling financially secure.
And every conversation reminds me why this work matters.
But none of us build our purpose alone.
Along this journey, there have been people who believed in the vision, guided me, challenged my thinking, and helped me grow.
I am deeply grateful to my mentor, Steve Conley, and the community around the Academy of Life Planning for helping me think more deeply about what true wealth really means — not just financially, but in terms of human potential, purpose, and contribution.
And to the many friends, colleagues, mentors and supporters who continue to encourage this work — thank you.
Because this is bigger than a career for me.
It is a mission.
A mission to help women build financial resilience, confidence, and long-term security.
A mission to change the way we talk about money — from silence and shame to clarity and empowerment.
For today, I simply wanted to pause and say:
Thank you to everyone who has walked part of this journey with me.
The work continues.
